VirDiKO Frequently Asked Questions FAQ’s
I. What does VirDiKO mean?
VirDiKO is the abbreviation for Virtual Distribution KOmpany.
II. What type of files should I upload for VirDiKO distribution services?
VirDiKO only accepts MP3 files for music and JPEG files for photos.
III. What does “VDG” mean?
VDG is the acronym for VirDiKO Database Group which is the entire VirDiKO network consisting of Disc Jockeys, Radio Program Directors, Record Company Executives, Artist & Repertoire Teams, Entertainment Industry Stakeholders etc,
IV. How long after I submit my information and payment to VirDiKO will my project be distributed?
The VirDiKO standard of distribution service to the VDG is within 72 hours of payment receipt.
V. How do Disc Jockeys, Radio Program Directors, Record Company Executives, Artist & Repertoire Teams, Entertainment Industry Stakeholders etc, contact me if they are interested in my project(s)?
It is the VirDiKO Client’s full responsibility to input accurate contact information when submitting project(s) to be distributed. All information will be included in the clients VirDiKO e-campaign.
VI. How long will my project stay in the VirDiKO Library?
All projects will be filed and available in the VirDiKO Library for a minimum of one (1) year from payment receipt.
VII. How many mp3’s files for my music project may be uploaded and distributed?
Currently VirDiKO has two (2) Music Distribution Packages available: - One (1) mp3 file or Four (4) mp3 files.
VIII. If I choose to purchase a 4 Track - Music Distribution Package, can I upload four different songs?
It is our client’s sole discretion on which four songs are chosen to upload for distribution. Due to our extremely diverse network of Disc Jockeys, Radio Program Directors, Record Company Executives, Artist & Repertoire Teams, Entertainment Industry Stakeholders etc, VirDiKO strongly recommends that our client’s focus on a single project and submit multiple versions such as Radio, Explicit, Instrumental, Acapella, and/or a Remix.
IX. How many jpeg files for my modeling project may be uploaded and distributed?
Currently VirDiKO has two (2) Photo Distribution Packages available: Six (6) jpeg files or Sixteen (16) jpeg files.
X. How do I convert my CD or Wave File to an MP3 and/or Bitmap file to JPEG to be VirDiKO ready?
VirDiKO does not recommend any MP3/JPEG converter over another as there are many options to choose from. Many file converter programs can be located, downloaded and/or purchased via the internet. Simply visit any popular Web Search Engine and search for "MP3 Converter" or "JPG Converter".
XI. What is the Pricing for the VirDiKO Library Listing/Link, Single Music Track & Quad Music Track Distribution Package?
The February 1st - March 31,2010 pricing special for the VirDiKO Single Music Track (1 Mp3) or Quad Music Track (Up to 4 Mp3s) Distribution has been reduced/adjusted to a fixed price of $300 (previously $250 or $500). This special fixed rate includes: an exclusive email campaign to the VirDiKO database, up to 4 versions of a music project available for download, a 2 year listing in the VirDiKO Library, Exclusive & Unlimited Download Weblink/Feedback Service and inclusion in Backspin Edition updates

XII. What is a V-Code?
V-Code is short for VirDiKO Code and is an access number assigned to approved VirDiKO Subscribers. The V-CODE gives subscribers full preview and download access of our clients music.
XIII. What is the VirDiKO Music Library Listing and Download Link Service? Effective 2/1/2010
This service is designed to allow artists to simply post their music project (up to 4 MP3s) inside of the VirDiKO Music Library and also receive a unique download weblink (Active for 12-months) that can be forwarded to their personal and/or company database. This service option is eligible for Review, Feedback, Downloading & Tracking by VirDiKO subscribers. This service does not include V-Code technology, VirDiKO eMail campaign nor a Back-Spin Edition Listing.
XIV. What is the Pricing for the VirDiKO Music Library Listing and Download Link Service?
As of June 1st, 2009, the introductory pricing for the VirDiKO Music Library Listing and Download Link Service is affordably set at $100.
XV. What is the maximum MP3 file size for uploading?
Music file (MP3) size is limited to 10MB per MP3.
XVI. How much does VirDiKO charge to "resend/re-email" my campaign to the VirDiKO Distribution Group?
Th price to resend a previous VirDiKO campaign is affordably set at $150.
