Very 80s/90s NYC R&B nightclub vibe (that's how we did it in the NYC clubs back then!)...Overall, song has a nice uptempo R&B MJ/Heartbreak Hotel club feel to it (Ne-Yo has taken that MJ vibe and ran with it in his career lol)...I like the music video-nice concept using IG Live message area to roll the lyrics of the song-makes sense! Your Club Quarantine on IG Live starting exactly 1 year ago has given D-Nice a great platform and new audience for his long music career...from DJ for BDP to DJ'ing all the big celebrity parties to the popular Club Q on IG Live since the beginning of the pandemic, which definitely help parlay that into big time TV commercials, being Music Director for the Emmys and stadium DJ at this years Super Bowl. Congrats on the single! Since Spring is now here and the weather will start getting warmer, it should do well, especially at Urban AC and some mixshows (good luck at radio, Troy!)

Would love to hear Kaytranada flip this or add a Snoop cameo. I love what D is trying to do w the jazz elements and uptempo 2 step track though.
