Reno Geno is born and raised in south Ga. A small city where great talents was born such as the Field Mobb, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin just to name a few. Reno was signed to Laface Record by way for Tony Mercedes Records early in his career. Unfortunately the deal didn’t work out causing Reno to abandon music altogether. “I turned to the streets where all of my peers were getting money because I had the record deal but they were living the life style!” In an interview he explained that even though he was in the streets he knew God had a plain for his life. “I was always talented and people would always tell me do not turn my back on music. When I was facing multiple year in prison I can remember ask God, “what is it he wanted me to do with my life. I would always hear a voice saying, “I gave you the key, go back to music!” Reno explained, “because i am old enough to be most of todays rapper father, i wasn’t comfortable with that.
