My name is Renaldo Roper. I’ve been a DJ, now, for 21 years. I began at the age of 13 years and practiced blending songs together. I started out with the name DJ Squiggles, which was a nickname at the time. That carried over into adulthood – I decided after 20 years to shorten it to DJ SQ. I’ve created a successful single-op brand for myself with high energy everything! Lights, mic skills, dance moves, you name it I do it! My name also holds weight in the dance community as one of the most notable dance mix producers. I’m the DJ that likes to break the rules of DJing. If it’s a genre or song you mix with another, I will. That’s what sets me apart and makes my style unique. I branded myself as unapologetically entertaining! Sometimes I call myself the chameleon DJ because I can adapt to any room you put me in. I'm the perfect fit to any puzzle in my humble opinion At the age of 34, I still have a ton of things to do and learn in this industry and I'm happy to accomplish them all!
